Level 2 Training
Training Overview
Level 2 Training is completed in person at the MRI Facility. The training lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes a tour of the facility and instruction on:
- MRI magnet safety
- Safety screening procedures
- Facility access and policies
- Emergency procedures
Before You Attend
Before you attend your Level 2 training, you must complete Level 1 training and email proof of completion to mri@byu.edu. In your email, please request Level 2 training so that you can be notified of upcoming trainings.
Level 2 trainings are typically held twice each month. You will receive advance notice by email when the next session is scheduled. To be added to the notification list, please email mri@byu.edu
After Training
After successfully completing Level 2 training, an MRI Facility badge will be ordered for you. This badge grants access to designated areas of the facility and verifies that you have completed the required safety training.
You should wear your badge at all times while in the MRI Facility. You will be notified when your badge is ready for pickup.
