Basic Safety Training for All Facility Users
Level 1 Training
Level 1 training includes the completion of a Canvas course and a HIPPA training. All trainings are completed online.
Canvas Course
The Canvas course covers basic MRI safety, facility policies, and emergency procedures. It consists of 5 modules with videos and short quizzes. Enroll in the Canvas course here: Level 1 Course
HIPPA Training
You must complete the HIPAA "Health Privacy" training in order to complete Level 1 training. This training is administered through CITI Program. Instructions for how to complete the HIPPA training are in Canvas.
Completion of Level 1 Training
When you have completed the Level 1 Training canvas course and HIPPA training, please email the following to mri@byu.edu:
- A screenshot showing your completed Canvas modules
- A copy of your HIPPA certificate
